Petr Studnička Managing Partner

Petr is the Managing Partner of ASB Group responsible for the strategy, development of new services, and business development for ASB Group offices in the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary. Petr has over 15 years´ experience advising clients in mergers and acquisitions, transaction services, investment structuring, and corporate services. He provides comprehensive corporate advice to international investors entering the Czech market. Petr is in close cooperation with the Czech Private Equity & Venture Capital Association, an International Association of Independent Accounting firms, and as a finance and accounting professional, he acts as a mentor at AI Startup Incubator.

Petra Rychnovská Partner

Petra is co-founder, Partner and Head of the Czech payroll team at ASB Group. As a Partner, she is in charge of strategy and business development. As a successful entrepreneur, she has over 17 years´ experience advising a wide range of clients from various industries, both domestic and international, in the areas of international expansion, investment opportunities and payroll issues. She has extensive experience in advising real estate clients. Petra actively cooperates with the Associations for Real Estate Market in the Czech Republic, and the Association for Foreign Investments, where Petra is a Vice-Chair of the Steering Committee.

Rudolf Vřešťál Partner

Rudolf is a co-founder and Partner of ASB Group. He was ASB´s Managing Partner for many years, specialising in comprehensive business advisory relating to the business structuring, accounting, and tax. He also has extensive experience with foreign investments. In 2013, Rudolf built on his previous experience Redside, a fund management company charged with managing the broad portfolio of the funds of qualified investors investing in various fields such as real-estate, renewable energy, and private equity. Redside currently manages total assets exceeding EUR 500 mil. Rudolf is a Chair of the Board and CFO of the Redside.

Tomáš Novák Partner

Tomas is a Partner of ASB Group with more than 20 years´ experience in the accounting, reporting, and financial advisory. He has extensive experience with accounting and reporting standards including Czech GAAP, US GAAP, UK GAAP, and IFRS. He participates in many various due diligences mainly in for real estate sector, and he also leads implementation of unique solutions provided by ASB Group, particularly for the asset managers and institutional investors in the real estate sector. Tomas is responsible for the Czech accounting and tax team, which is comprising of more than 50 professionals.

Milan Bančanský Finance Director

Milan is a Finance Director at ASB Group, he is responsible for internal finance department of Czech ASB entities and group reporting of ASB Group. Professional in the area of finance with experience gained at PwC and multinational companies acting in construction industry and educational services. Milan focuses on corporate finance reporting and managing of finance departments with an overlap to HR and purchase agenda. He is also responsible for cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions of ASB´s Czech office.

Jana Pytelková Svobodová Head of Tax Team

Jana heads up the Czech ASB´s Tax Team. She leads and supervises various consultancy projects, including tax due diligence, tax compliance projects and ongoing advisory in all tax areas, and is also responsible for business development. She has over 15 years´ experience as a tax manager, providing tax services to industrial companies, real estate firms, as well as other sectors. Jana has been a registered tax advisor since 2004 and obtained LL.M. degree in international taxation at the Economics University of Vienna in 2009.

Kateřina Nováková Head of Accounting Team

Kateřina is the Head of Accounting Team for the Czech office. Being an ACCA (a global professional accounting body) member, she has more than 15 years´ experience in the financial management area, including external auditing, US GAAP and IFRS reporting, preparation of consolidated financial statements, controlling, client support and communication with authorities. Kateřina and her team, which comprises 10 professionals, focus on real estate clients and financial institutions. She has broad experience in reporting and the preparation of financial statements according to Czech and international accounting standards.

Gabriela Dufková Head of Accounting Team

Gabriela is the Head of Accounting Team for the Czech office. She has over 18 years’ experience advising clients on Czech and international accounting issues. Gabriela is primarily responsible for the coordination of daily operations in accounting services and consultancy, external bookkeeping and consultancy for market leading corporations, financial reporting, and financial due diligence. In her role, she supervises accounting issues, implements new accounting standards, reviews of public and internal reporting. Gabriela has extensive experience in accounting for groups with foreign capital and for companies operating in various sectors.

Lenka Petrlíková Head of Accounting Team

Lenka is the Head of the Accounting Team for the Czech office. She has over 20 years of experience with advising clients on the Czech and international accounting standards and on financial audits, helping with the implementation of management information systems and in the financial risk management area. Lenka is primarily responsible for the coordination of daily operations in accounting services and consultancy, external bookkeeping and consultancy for Czech and foreign companies, and for financial reporting and due diligence. In her role, she supervises accounting tasks and implements new accounting and reporting standards. She is focused on optimisation and effectiveness of internal procedures. Since 2000, she has been an active member of ACCA.

Nela Paradjina Head of Corporate Services

Nela leads the Czech Corporate Services Team. She is an experienced manager and provides advice to key clients in the corporate services area. She has extensive experience in corporate establishment and liquidation of companies, communication with investors, and managing the various processes of their investments projects. Nela co-operates with the tax and payroll teams to provide clients with comprehensive advice on the issues in question. Nela also focuses on the retail sector.

Dan Ledvinka Group Business Development Director

Dan is the Group Business Development Director of ASB Group. He leads marketing, public and media relations, and business development in the CEE region, particularly Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary. He has more than 7 years´ experience in business development and marketing communications. Dan worked in a business media and public affairs agency and has led numerous projects & events focused on the capital markets, corporate finance, private equity and FinTech.

Klára Cowan Head of Payroll Team

Klára is a strong skilled professional who helps clients to set up payroll processes, using benefits and issues related to HR. She ensures that all processes are executed appropriately and in a timely manner. She completes the full payroll cycle, including all pre- and post-controls and validation, ensuring that all tax issues are properly addressed, preparing payroll transactions, and closing each cycle in a timely manner consistent with internal governance and payroll agenda requirements with the goal to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Hana Sára Korcová Senior Payroll Consultant

Hana is ASB´s Payroll Supervisor with more than 15 years´ experience in providing payroll services as an internal payroll supervisor as well as extensive experience in payroll outsourcing. She is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the payroll department, including transmitting, receiving, and balancing the payroll for approximately 500 employees. She assists clients in setting up HR and payroll processes, employing benefits and issues related to HR. She has been appointed to supervise the payroll team and find effective ways of improving our processes.

Petra Hořejší Human Resources Manager

Petra is the HR Manager of ASB Prague and is also responsible for office management. She has more than 10 years´ experience in HR, especially in the field of executive search. Her professional background includes HR management and administration, recruitment, learning & human resources development, employer branding, and managing other projects within the HR area.

BREXIT – EORI after January 1, 2021

In the case of entities registered in the United Kingdom, having an EORI number was related to transactions with third countries. However, due to the fact that the United Kingdom is leaving the European Union, it will be necessary to have an EORI number for further operation of entities. Therefore, entrepreneurs conducting transactions with European Union Member States should have an EORI number. The lack of this identifier results in stopping the flow of goods.

EORI – what is worth knowing

Abbreviation of EORI (Economic Operators’ Registration and Identification) in other words, it is the EU system for verifying flows of goods to register and identify economic operators for customs purposes. This system operates in every member state of the European Union. Additionally, some changes are coming early in 2021, so read our article to know more.

SLIM VAT: simplifications for taxpayers

The Ministry of Finance announced 16 July 2020 a package of changes to facilitate calculation and settlement of VAT. The aim of proposed changes is to make VAT easier, more modern, and adopted to the local reality, i.e. the high presence of small and medium-sized firms in Poland that settle their taxes on their own.
