Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy contains information on the processing of your personal data by ASB Czech Republic, s.r.o V Celnici 1031/4, 110 00 Prague 1 (hereinafter referred to as „ASB”) in connection with your use of the services available on the website https://asbgroup.eu/en/ (hereinafter: „Website”), as well as in connection with establishing or maintaining contacts with ASB through other communication channels, including e-mail, telephone calls or traditional postal correspondence.
Information about the terms and conditions of personal data processing was described in point I („GDPR Information Clause”).
The rules for collecting and using cookies and using other similar measurement technologies used on the Website were described in point II („Cookie Policy”).
I. GDPR Information Clause
Pursuant to Article 13 and 14 of the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (“GDPR”), we inform that:
1. The controller of your personal data is ASB Czech Republic, s.r.o V Celnici 1031/4, 110 00 Prague 1 (hereinafter referred to as the „Controller”).
2. Your personal data will be processed for the following purposes and based on the following legal bases:

Ensuring contact with persons acting on behalf of contractors, suppliers and customers.

Purpose of data processing
Providing users of the Website with functional solutions, as well as carrying out analytical, statistical and marketing activities on the Website through cookies or other similar technologies.

3. The recipients of your personal data shall be entities providing services to the Controller, in particular IT services, as well as marketing services, courier and accounting companies, banks. The recipients of your personal data may also be other entities from the capital group to which the Controller belongs (ASB Group) involved in the provision of services, as well as entities authorised to receive data pursuant to the provisions of law.
4. On the Website, IT tools for analytics are used, provided by entities from third countries (i.e. countries not belonging to the European Economic Area). The use of such tools may require these entities to access your data. This results in the transfer of data to a third country. In such cases, the transfer of your data will be secured through a relevant transfer mechanism based on the provisions of the GDPR i.e. a decision of the European Commission confirming an adequate level of personal data protection under Article 45 of the GDPR – in the case of the US, the so-called Privacy Framework (https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/s/) or based on the standard data protection clauses adopted by the European Commission pursuant to Article 46(2) of the GDPR. 5. If you are a representative of our Customer (ordering a service) or supplier, the Controller will process your contact information (e.g. name, surname, email address, telephone number, official position) in connection with the ongoing cooperation or for the purpose of establishing cooperation. In case we have not obtained this data directly from you, we have received it from our Customer or supplier, which you represent.
6. Your personal data will be stored, depending on the purpose of their processing:
a. for the period of correspondence or maintaining the contact,
b. for the period of the contract performed or cooperation conducted,
c. until objection to data processing is submitted – if personal data is processed under the so-called legitimate interest (such cases are described in point 3 above).
After the aforementioned period, your personal data will be archived for the period in which applicable laws mandate the retention of data or for the period of the statute of limitations for possible claims, and will then be deleted or anonymised.
7. You have the following rights in relation with processing your personal data:
a. the right to access the data, the right to rectification, the right to erasure, the right to restriction of processing, the right to data portability;
b. the right to object to data processing – if your personal data is processed under the so-called legitimate interest and under the conditions set out in the provisions of the GDPR;
c. the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (President of the Office for Personal Data Protection) when you believe that processing of data violates the provisions of GDPR.

9. Provision of personal data is mandatory in the event that such an obligation arises from the provisions of law, e.g. tax law. The consequence of not providing personal data will be the refusal to establish or conduct cooperation. The provision of data for the other purposes (described in point 2) is voluntary, but may be necessary to achieve them, i.e. to respond to an inquiry or to use the Website.
10. Information about the processing of personal data in connection with conducting other activities is described in the relevant notification clauses placed on specific subpages of the Website:

II. Cookie Policy
What are Cookies?
1. Cookies should be understood as IT data, in particular text files, which are files saved by the web browser you use on your end device (e.g. computer, smartphone, tablet) when visiting the site: https://asbgroup.eu/en (hereinafter reffered to as the "Site").
2. The data stored in cookies includes information about the way you use the Site (subpages and content displayed), the date and time of your visit and other information about your activity.
3. Cookies typically include the name of the site they come from, period of storage on the end device, and a unique number.
4. Cookies do not contain data about your identity, but they allow us to recognise the device used for connecting to the site. In some situations, cookie identifiers, as well as information collected through cookies or other similar technologies, may constitute personal data. In such cases, the use of cookies is subject to the conditions described in our "GDPR Information Clause".
Who places cookies?
1. The entity placing cookies on the Site user's end device and gaining access to them is the Site operator, i.e. ASB Czech Republic s.r.o. V Celnici 1031/4, 110 00 Prague 1 (first party cookies).
2. Some cookies, e.g. analytical and marketing cookies, may be provided by the Site operator's partners (third-party cookies).

For what purpose and what cookies do we use?
1. Cookies may be used for the following purposes:
1). enabling users to use the Site and ensuring proper and safe functioning of its functionality - the so-called essential cookies;
2). remembering and adjusting the Site settings to the user's choices in terms of, among others, the user's chosen language or region of origin, font size, website design - the so-called functional (preference) cookies;
3). generating statistics which help understand how Site users use its websites, which allows to improve its structure and content - the so-called analytical (statistical) cookies;
4). providing users with advertising content tailored to their interests (preferences), which are built on the basis of tracking users' behaviour and activity on the Site and on the websites of the partners - the so-called marketing cookies.

Purpose of storage: It tracks whether the user has shown interest in specific products or events on many websites and detects the way the user navigates among websites. This is used to measure advertising efforts and makes it easier to pay referral fees among websites.
How long will cookies be placed in the user's end device?
The Site uses two types of cookies - "session" and "persistent" ones. The first ones are temporary files that remain in the user's device until the user logs out or turns off the software (web browser). Persistent cookies remain in the user's end device for a period specified in the cookie settings or until deleted manually by the user.
How to enable and uninstall or prevent the installation of cookies?
1. When entering the Site for the first time, a banner will be displayed to the user, informing them of the use of cookies and allowing them to manage the cookies. The user may give their consent to all categories of cookies or only some of them. The user may also withdraw their consents at any time. The possibility to manage cookies does not apply to essential cookies, which cannot be displayed.
2. The user may also, at any time, change cookie settings in the settings of the software used for browsing the Internet (web browser). By default, the web browser allows cookies to be stored on the user's end device. These settings may be changed, in particular so as to block automatic cookie support or inform the user each time the cookies are placed in their device. 3. Restrictions on the use of cookies may affect some of the functionalities available on the Site.

5. In addition, it is possible to set the web browser to block cookies or to warn each time prior to their installation. The settings vary from browser. Instructions on how to use cookies can be found in the browser's "Help" menu.
6. The Site Operator reserves the right to make changes to the Cookie Policy. Any changes made will be published on the Site's website.
